After being brutally abducted, sold into slavery and forced to conform to Spanish culture and Catholicism for five years, two Navajo sisters must decide whether to return to a now foreign homeland or stay with their captors.
All proceeds from the sale of this novel will be split equally and sent to the following museums: Bosque Redondo Memorial at Fort Sumner Historic Site (NM), Fort Garland Museum and Cultural Center (CO), and the Hacienda de Los Martinez Museum (NM).
